I'm glad you joined the forum and like to help you out. A site I've found to be extremely helpful about skin care products is Swift's blog which has extensive information on ingredients and tutorials. http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.com/

Another site which I've found interesting is Aromantic Ltd. http://www.aromantic.co.uk/natural-skin ... ibrary.htm I haven't tried any recipes but I've seen a few recipes that sound nice and I keep meaning to make them. I just don't have the recommended oils.

Welcome to the forum! Hazel is totally right about Swift's blog. I was just thinking that as I was reading!

I hear rosewater is helpful for aging skin, maybe you could look for some recipes using rosewater. Happy soaping!
