Hi, I just joined. Made my first bar of soap on Sunday, it was pretty exciting. Let's just say it was a learning experience! I found my way to soapmaking through various other crafts... I'm an occasional knitter and beader, and just like learning how to do things. My mom had made soap a couple times, so I figured I could give it a try. Plus, long luxurious baths are just about my favorite thing ever. My hope is to get good enough at it to be able to sell some bars at the local farmers market when it starts back up next year.
