Yes hello all,
Andy and Katie here
Tried making our first soap less than 50 hours ago! Had a right nightmare with it, kept it in the shed for 24 hours and it came out like mush! :shock: So here we are two hopefuls seeking advice and experience from fellow soapers.

Can't wait to get started on a new batch! I've got the bug!

Welcome Andy and Katie. You might try to run your recipe through soapcalc to make sure you have all the percentages correct and the soap turns out right. Happy soaping!

Thank you for the replys
Our soap has now hardened. It took 3-4 days rather than 24 hours. Is it still safe if it takes a little longar and would we leave it longer than 6 weeks?
