I'm considering donating the proceeds from all my soap sales to a benefit for a little girl who received a brain injury in a terrible accident. This would be up until the day of the planned benefit. Or I could host a table and sell it at the benefit itself.

Have any of you ever done anything like that?

I have not done that with my soaps. But I have with my canned goods. I bought a basket and put some foam in the bottom(my husband had brought home from work), put a pretty layer of fabric over the top. I just used clear cellophane and some pretty ribbon. I also printed up a list of what kind of pickles, jams, sauces and sauces were in the basket.

Those are so pretty! That would be great for the auction they're having.

Oh. I should also add that I didn't personally sell it. They did a silent auction with quite a few items to raise money for our friend who needs a kidney transplant. It sold for $140.
