Hi all,

All my CP soaps have a lifespan of approximately 3 weeks when used properly and kept relatively dry between uses.

I've tried adding salt water, sodium lactate, water discounting to no avail, not a noticeable improvement. I want the bars to be harder and long lasting. Any suggestions?

All my formulations call for 30-35% EVCO and then blends of palm, sunflower, rice bran, castor, butters. I don't want to use lard and am looking out for alternatives to that too.

Increase your palm, thats what will give you a longer lasting bar. Try this

Palm 50%
OO or your other favorite liquid oil 25%
Coconut oil 20%
Castor 5%

If you want to use a butter, drop the palm to 40% and add 10% butter.
