There are items I want to order from them on etsy, but I was wondering if the shipping cost is correct and if you have to pay customs or any extra fees like that? $7.00 just seems way too cheap for shipping from China (which is where it says it ships from). They just have some super cute things!!!!!

I've ordered from them twice and I've been very happy. International shipping from Taiwan (I think that's where they are located) can be pretty cheap, sometimes cheaper than within the US. Transportation costs by boat are pretty low and silicone molds are lightweight.

I've ordered from other vendors in Taiwan and my stuff has arrived within 10 days to 2 weeks.

Ooo, I'm tempted to get some custom stamps from them. I ordered one from another seller based in Taiwan/China as well. Am waiting to get it and then try it first before "stocking" up. :D

I have my soap stamps from there and love them, I love he shipping cost.I wish USA would have the same cost of shipping :(

YAY! Now Im sooooo tempted to go spend WAY too much money, I have so many of their items favorited....thank you so much for your replies. I was just curious because shipping from one state to another is sooo expensive and it seemed way too good to be true!!

I was reluctant myself, but figured, what do I have to lose??
4 bucks shipping cost?
Go crazy :)

Could you give me a link to this please, I type in happy diy and other stuff comes up.

I don't know about your customs regulations in the US, but if I order stuff from outside the EU, I will have to pay customs (about 15%), VAT (25%) and a horrendous fee (about $25), so make sure to check your local regulations before ordering! It can become very expensive, very quickly!!!
Not worth saving a few bucks on shipping ...

P.S. Speaking of ETSY: I saw somebody from Texas who made some nice moulds as well

I would go on Etsy and type in soap stamps, the name comes right up.

Thanks for the link Ruth, I tried typing in soap stamps and happy diy didn't come up and when I typed in Happy DIY as in your link, birthday things crop up. Anyway thanks I have it now, just clicking on it. Don't know what is going on :? . I just googled Happydiy and Happy Days the TV show showed up. :? :? :? :? :? All the wet weather here has everything topsy turvy. hehe

... are your feet webbed?

My daughter has gone to Wagga for the week for a residential school and she can't believe there's no rain. Told her she'll get a shock when she arrives here at the end of the month, as there's no grass ... everything is brown and dusty!

Soap Republic has very pretty stuff but expensive. Next alternative is to copy the design and ask HappyDIY to custom it. :x

I have ordered a few times with no additional fees assessed. The only thing I noticed is that silicone molds from them STINK horribly, compared to others obtained elsewhere. I don't know why that is. Their toad mold is one of my more popular for gag gifts.

Are their silicone log moulds with dividers any good? I've been eyeing them up for a while now but am waiting for next pay day before taking the plunge...

Haven't turned into a duck yet Kaz, hehe

Omg soap republic! Their stuff is so cute I've never seen their shop before. DIY could do something comparable but it won't be the same, I'm sure their stuff is copyrighted. I love SR owl stuff!!!

I am waiting for an order now. The shipping adds up fast if you buy a few. I purchased 7 molds, and my shipping was $21.50. Can't wait to get them, though :)
