... to me.

My brick & mortar has been open 3 years today. I forgot to schedule a party! What can I come up w/ real quick? I will send out a newsletter & write it on our outside sandwich board- PARTY on Saturday. Free refreshments (cookies & lemonade).... what else? I will put ballons outside... I generally like to have a fee craft project for the kids who drop in like fridge magnets made out of bottle caps, etc. Something cheap but fun... any ideas on cheap fun crafts that require little to no supervision since it will be a drop in & out all day?

Here is one idea I found

Rainbow Streamer Paper Plate Fun

Supplies needed:

Large paper plate
markers or crayons
5 or 6 different colored streamers
scissors
tape

Cut paper plate in half and then cut off the rim of the plate. Color arches on the plate to resemble a rainbow. Tape 12 inch lengths of different colored streamers to the cut side of the plate. Take the rainbow streamers outside and let the colors blow in the wind. Kids also love to dance and sing to music with these.

Happy Anniversary!!! I can't think of any crafts at the moment but will keep it in mind throughout the day.
Hugs,

What if you had a cupcake or cookie decorating table? It'd cover the snacks and the craft! :)

Smart thinking! Seems like we did that once, I think it was Christmas 2 years ago. It's been long enough we could do it again.

How about an outdoor BBQ to celebrate??? May need a permit, but there is nothing like the smell of hot dogs and hamburgers to gather a crowd. You could charge a small fee for the bbq and donate the proceeds, after expenses to a local charity.

BEST OF LUCK with your anniversary celebrations, and congrats on being in business for 3 years!!!
