Gritty shea butter

I have some organic Shea butter. I melted it down, added a little avocado oil and a few drops of essential. I blended it really well with my electric stick blender but it’s still so gritty. Not Smith at all. I wanting to make a solid lotion bar and use this shea butter but I don’t want it to be a gritty bar. Any suggestion on how to get it smooth?
