Hello Everyone,

Just stopping in to explore ... this is my first post.

I can see there is a lot to learn and share!

Please don't mind me if I lurk around here and
there getting a feel for things around here!

I primarily make candles, gel candles, melt 'n' pour
soaps, and natural skin care products.

Have a great day,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Welcome to the forum! :D

Please don't be hesitant about contributing to any discussions. Plus we love pictures here so don't definitely don't be shy about posting them.

Thanks Irena and Hazel ... will do about the photos once I learn my way around and figure out how to post them! My little avatar is from some hummingbird soaps I was making for a while ... tried to get the colors to be somewhat specific for various species of "hummers" ... so that was a "Black-chinned" ... they took too much time though, so, for now, I seem to have given up!

I'd suggest trying http://www.flickr.com/ when you want to post pictures. There's been some issues with Image Shack on this forum so people are starting to use alternate sites for pictures.

There's another site that was suggested but I can't remember the name.

Hi Hazel,

Thanks for the tip ... I have a VillagePhotos account, so I'm guessing I could use that and then edit/copy the image code ... I will read more about how to insert the code, etc., but I'm sure I'll get there ... I used to be a frequent member on an ezboard candlemaking forum, so I think the layout is fairly similar to that format. I'll try to practice real soon!

Thanks again!
Kathy

Hi & Thanks ...

I hear the birdwatching is quite something over near Houston!

My hobbies include a lot of various crafts, but husband was "born to birdwatchers" ... so, guess who has learned a lot !!

Thanks for the welcome!
Kathy
