My new favorite with lemongrass and wintergreen eo

I adore lemongrass and wintergreen! And the colors are so pretty! Could you give me a rough proportion of lemongrass to wintergreen? I have a suspicion I will be fighting to find the perfect proportion for a long time if I don't get a place to start.

Im guessing it depends on what you like. It was a 2lb batch of soap and I used 0.5 oz of wintergreen and 0.3 oz lemongrass. Its a nice combo.

I would be careful to label it properly, however. Wintergreen essential oil is very potent - a half an ounce has the same amount of naturally occurring methyl salicyclate as 85 adult aspirin tablets (according to Wikipedia). It's the active ingredient in topical creams like Ben Gay. Even though soap is a wash off product, your end users should be aware of potential toxicity, effects on existing health conditions, or potential interactions with other medications.

I used 0.5 oz wintergreen in a 16 oz batch of liquid soap. It smells awesome, and does not irritate my skin.

Welcome. Its my favorite so far . My fiancee has bee forced to take a whiff every day lol. Its uplifting in my opinion
