I was wondering if Phenonip is a good preservative for soaps?

soap? as in CP soap? you don't need a preservative in soap.

it would be for melt and pour. I haven't had any recipes that called for one, but I was just curious in case I ever came across one that called for one.

I've never heard of putting a preservative in MP either, only in a syndet liquid product.
