I'm new to soaping, and, thus far, my method of keeping track of recipes and notes has been to print out the soapcalc recipe, scribble on it (I have horrendous handwriting), then throw it in my craft room near the soaping stuff. Clearly, this isn't the best method. I have issues with handwriting due to dysgraphia and physical organization has never been my strong suit, so I'm looking into a purely electronic method of storing my recipes and notes. I know I could just do word docs, but I'd prefer something a that's easier to organize and search. I've looked at a couple of food recipe apps that I think could work, but I was wondering if anyone on here had any recommendations.

Every time I print a recipe in soap calc, I also save it as a PDF to the soap making folder on my computer. If your computer set up doesn't allow you to save or print as a PDF, there's a free program called "PDF creator".

I can make and edit pdfs, but I'd prefer something more all-inclusive, I suppose. Something that I can put multiple recipes with notes into and search. Perhaps that product doesn't exist yet.

I use Evernote. It's free and with the chrome plugin I can save my soapcalc recipe to a new note.
Then I can add photos and reminders for my cure times. It's searchable and I can pull it up from my PC or my phone.
