Found this seascape I made back in '05... I still love it.

Ooo you make candles like we saw on an episode of "How it's Made" - the kids were nagging me for months to make candles lol Love this one, super cute!

Very nice candle... I always wanted to learn how to do that kind of carving. I know how to dip standard tapers and how to pur typical columns and all kinds of "Art" candles, but I am not sure about all the ins and outs of carving that kind... Ihave tried before and they tend to split along the color layers. I am not sure if I have my wax too cold or what, but every time I twist, the sliver crumbles. :/

Anyway, beautiful candle!

What kind of additives are in your wax? I think it's vybar? I would have to look at my notes, but if you add the additive to your carving wax, it makes it adhere better, so that the crumbling doesn't happen. Prob not vybar. Maybe it's microcrystaline. I think that's it actually... Like I said though, I rarely carve anymore...
But thank you. :)
