I have read many different posts about the wonderfulness of the GM oatmeal and honey soap. I, however, cannot find a HP recipe. I want to use Goat's Milk, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, castor Oil and shea butter. I also have access to Cocoa Butter. The thing is, I am not sure if these oils will work well. I also do not know how to do the goat's milk. Do I add it at the end? Do I split the Goat's milk into 1/2 GM and half water? HELLLLLP!

There are many ways, but since it will be your first time, I recommend adding a small amount of goat milk after the soap is cooked in the crock pot...reserve about two ounces of water when u are getting lye ready, replace that with the milk.. Add the honey, I would just use a tablespoon (I'm thinking of a two pound batch tho, so adjust accordingly) to ur water before mixing lye in... Add the oatmeal powder while u are stick blending... Use you normal recipe, I love those oils and butters.

THANKS

Thank you!! I will do that. So, if I leave 2oz of water for the goats milk, I would replace it with 2 oz of goat's milk after cooking. Given the oils that I am using for the base, how do I superfat the soap afterwords. Should I use Castor Oil or Olive Oil?

you do not have to superfat afterward. use soap calc and choose a SF % and it will give you the oil an dlye and water amounts and you just foloow the HP procedure as is. :)
