I had a heck of a time getting a couple of batches out of test molds the other day. The molds were filled to the brim and there was just the slightest bow in the sides. Putting them in the frig for a bit didn’t help. My solution was to slide paper between the soaps and the walls of the molds. It worked like a charm.

And I thought I was the only one having this issue. When I started having trouble getting my soap out of the test molds, I started partially lining them with freezer paper. One long strip that covers 2 sides and the bottom, leaving the excess uncut. Then when I am ready to unmold, I first loosen the sides without the paper. Then I grip the excess paper above the mold and pull up. Works like a charm.

Yeah, those little square molds can be a bit of a pita sometimes, but I don't stress less than perfect bars because it's a 'test' soap.
