OK after looking at 7 different types of anti-persperant/deodorant tubes, I could not find one marking on any of them. So, I did a google search and learned alot about deodorant tubes and recycling them.
Not an easy task. So, for now I will scrap the idea of putting my stain sticks in a tube.
I was showing DH some of the photos the ladies were posting on one of the FB groups last night and then I posted my little soap area. Mine looked tiny compared to theirs. It was actually neat seeing how some folks set up their soaping area.
So, after DH and I talked a little he said he was glad to see that I am finally going to have a hobby. He said he doesn't know how I do it sitting around staring at 4 walls on a daily basis. It is not easy, trust me!! For medical reasons I had to quit work in 2011 :-( I miss working. I miss my boss and co-workers.
We are prepared for the money it is going to cost going into making the soap and I found ways around spending a lot of equipment. Dollar store items. And I found this neat little mini food processor to turning my laundry bars into "powder" for 6.95 at Fred's
I took DH's old SB and DD gave me the white cart that I have everything on. She had it in her room for a tv stand and she just recently bought a new one so this worked out well.
All in all the only cost was the ingredients. I purchased small to get started and give me time to hunt around for better bulk bargains.
SO today I will make my 100% CO and post pics. I am doing the CPHP soaping method.
