I have not soaped since last year, as I've been busy with other things and haven't run out of soap yet, lol!

I finally decided I wanted to jump back in. Last night I made a castile soap and have it sitting waiting to be hard enough to unmold and cut. Now I've got the bug again and want to do a gazillion more batches, lol! I've slowly picked up some fun ingredients here and there, but I realized that in the long break, I totally forgot what a lot of things do and why I want to use them in soap!

My usually recipe is lard, oo, co, and caster, maybe a little shea butter in there. But now I have hemp seed oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter, almond oil, activated charcoal, kaolin clay, and lanolin. Anyone have any suggestions for an awesome bar of soap using what I have?

I love avocado oil in soap. I use it at about 8-10%. Charcoal & clays I usually only use for color. What color kaolin is it?

So I'm thinking about this, what do you guys think?

OO- 35%
Lard- 32%
CO- 15%
Avocado- 8%
Caster- 5%
Shea Butter- 5%
