I've asked about gel before, in a post titled something like 'to gel or not to gel....
I got the answers i wanted, basically people said you can choose to let your soaps gel if you want, but it doesn't really affect the overall outcome.
obviously the look of gelled soaps is different, the colours get darker and richer, whereas ungelled soap, well the gm cp kind i make, the colours stay pastel and creamy.
i think i like the look of ungelled better, and people basically said its what you like the look of best that counts.
question: are gelled soaps harder? I've bought a few natural vege soaps (not gm) from health shops lately, and they are really hard, and have obviously gelled.
and have i missed learning about anything about gel, or can i continue to believe that ungelled soap is just as good as gelled?
