Hi, I just made my third batch of cold process soap. I cut it 24 hours later and in the center of the soap it has a very weird texture, the outside is perfectly fine and the colors are very bright but the middle isn't like that :( what could this be? does this have anything to do with gel phase? I would appreciate any feedback! I've attached a picture of my soap the small piece is one I cut off the edge :)

Can you post a picture of the inside of your soap vs the top? It's hard to see with the picture you posted.

Also, can you say what is "weird" about the inside?

I do think that the difference is due to gelling. The temperature is higher on the inside compare to the outside, thus the middle part gel more instead.
