Except for accidentally leaving the zests out, I'm quite happy with this. I garden (vegetables mostly) and wanted to make something good for after those down and dirty planting/weeding/harvesting sessions.

Dumped everything in at trace and hand stirred, lost the trace, took another 15 minutes to trace again.

Looks great. I really like the Kleenex box that it is sitting on.

Isn't it classy, that was my mold for it LOL Can't wait for my molds from WSP to get here!

Amy, looks wonderful. What was the recipe you used and how much of each did you use? Coffee grounds? Cornmeal? Oatmeal?

Smellykat

Thanks everyone. It smells really nice, like rosemary.

I used this recipe, but I'm going to remake it with palm and coconut oils, and mix up the spices, and I want to find parsley powder to color it.

11.2oz Lard
3.2oz Crisco
1.6oz OO
1T Sugar
6oz Water
2oz Lye
Gardener Mix >>
1T Oat Flour, 1T Cornmeal, 1T coffee grounds, 1t dill weed, 1t rosemary, 1t parsley (add lemon & orange zest next time)

Amy, was this CP recipe?? It is wonderful looking!!

It was CP. I still need to recreate it with better oils. I guess it's been long enough I can test it out lol

I just tried it, it works, it's soap LOL The lather and bubbles are alright I guess, nothing like my newer batches with palm, coconut, castor, butters, etc, but it was a good place to start for practice. The lather is actually good but it's more clear and thin than thick and white, hard to describe. Since this thread has been resurrected I got an itch to redo the gardener's soap, so I think I will do that tomorrow :D
