Gaius the Grad

I'm posting this here because some of you know that Gaius started me on my soaping journey when he was in the second grade.

Well, he is now a high school graduate with plans to become an electrician!

Crazy.

The school has a tradition that the graduate carries a rose to their mother after receiving their diploma.

Awesome! Congratulations! I know it's all about them but for me I also felt a sense of accomplishment and relief when each one graduated (I have 3 ) It's a grand moment for sure!

I think that's why the school has them give the moms roses. They know who is most likely driving them to and from school/sports/drama and guiding them through schoolwork/projects/girlfriends. (I understand that some households are different, but that's the norm at our school)
