So what I do is as soon as I have the oils/lye mixture blended I take out what I need for colour, add my ultramarine or oxide, SB just to mix the colour then add back to the full batch....

i have used these cheap soap colors from michaels with some sucess, blue always turns out green though. They work better in hp than cp. I have used liquid colors from online, and wow, you dont need much, i added some purple, then didnt think it was working, added more, then when it cured it is almost black! live and learn for me.

thanks for the tip! I'll keep that in mind when I'm adding colors to the soap. My Michaels colors didn't do squat. Guess it only works in HP. Oh well, so the saying goes for all of us, live and learn.....
