freezing soap

I am having trouble with essential oils loosing their scent after 3-6 months, depending on the oil. I remember this being a problem for others on the forum a couple of months back. I don't think anyone ever came up with a natural or organic scent fixative.
If I wait until the bars have cured, has anyone ever frozen the soap after curing to preserve it?
Thoughts on that possibility?

I have never tried it, but I think you would want to be careful when you take them out that they do not get condensation on them.

I do recall seeing that some store the soaps in a box with a cotton ball that has the EO on it.
