Forest Green Pigments

Hello, I'm looking for a deep green pigment that will survive the saponification process and come out dark forest green. The one I tried, Eye Candy Dark Ocean Green, came out gray.

Wholesale supplies plus has a woodland green pigment that might work. You can deepen the hue by adding a little black oxide.

Thank you both for the suggestions. I am giving the woodland green a try first. About black oxide, that is good to know. I wonder if charcoal would have the same effect if mixed with the green pigment. I have charcoal on hand but not black oxide.

If it is powdered charcoal, then it should work fine. I would add just a tiny bit at a time to test the results.

Thank you everyone. I went with the Matt Woodland Green from Wholesale Supplies Plus. It worked very well, just what I needed. No darkening needed.
