I have been having partial gel problems so I tried leaving the mold with soap in the freezer for 2 days instead of one. It worked with the gel aspect but I removed the soap from the mold and put out to cure. Went back to flip and it was a gooey mess. Today it is better but still gooey and now has white stuff all over (soda ash?) what am I doing wrong? Also can I do anything to speed up the water evaporation process ofcuring?

If you leave it in the freezer for a couple days, you'll need to let it sit out for a day or two (or more) to dry a bit.
It could be soda ash, did you spray it with alcohol before putting it in the fridge?

You can't speed up curing, but you can speed up the water evaporation by not using full water in your recipes to begin with.

The soap in question was a beer soap so I used 38% water.... here is hoping time will help...

When you put soap in the freezer or refrigerator, you slow down the saponification process, so if you go directly from 1-2 days in the freezer to unmolding, your soap hasn't had time to go through the process enough to be firm and it's like putting frozen batter on your counter. Although I sometimes freeze my soap, it is a terrible test of patience to have to wait for it to be set for unmolding- like 3-4 days, which is a killer for me.
