FO vs. EO

There seem to be two opinions on the subject...

EOs are concentrated essentials and, therefore, stronger than FOs.

or

FOs are synthetic and can therefore be made concentrate and stronger than EOs.

Or is this one of those "it depends on which scent" situations?

It depends on the scent & the company you get it from. Strawberry fo may be strongest at supplier X but cherry may be weak from that same supplier but really strong at supplier Z who has a weak strawberry. The same gos for EO which may be stronger or weaker than each other & than fo's depending on which one & from who...
