Flags?

Anybody ever make soaps designed to look like the colors of a particular Flag? I want to make a sky blue soap with a black star in the middle and give it to my gal pals from Somalia.
I have a friend from Germany and that should be relatively easy like the Somali flag.
And I think if would be fun to surprise my sister with soap bars that look like the Swedish flag.
Just some crazy idea I had and was wondering if any experienced soaper has done that?

You can use a star column mold to make the stars and place the star soap horizontally in a partially poured loaf mold, then finish by pouring more soap around it.

I've used star embeds in CP soap. I think BB even has a video where they do it.

It's more elaborate than what you are looking for, I think, but you can see how it's done. I have the BB mold and it works well, although I've used M&P to make the embeds. I haven't yet tried making the embeds with CP.

I've been kicking around the idea of making a Danish flag soap, which would be very similar design to a Swedish flag. My plan was basically to do it layer by layer, but I haven't quite worked out how to keep the lines on the top and bottom straight. I think the easiest way might be to make one of the colors ahead of time, cut it into the shape needed and use it as an embed.
