I placed an order on Amazon to get some supplies to make my first batch of lotion bars. Most of it got here this morning. Of course I have to leave to go out of town tomorrow morning so will have to wait until I get back. Anyway, no replies needed I just wanted someone to see my haul!
Some of this stuff will serve double duty, for example it seems like I went crazy with the oils, but I will also use those on my wool dryer balls, the scale will replace one I use for measuring dog food and such. And the thermometer will get used for candy and caramel making as well.
I will order a few more things when I get into actual soap making p, but this will get me going until I can set up in the new house.

Ah... I love a good haul. :)

I have that same Ozeri digital kitchen scale - I've had it for over 5 years and its still working great. I don't think I've even had to replace the batteries and I use it every day.

I want your kitchen! Looks so roomy and great. Awesome haul! Just placed my first order from Natures Garden to try out some FOs and finally got Castor and Avocado Oil to try out!

That's a beautiful haul, Prim! If I were you, I'd leave it "displayed" like that until I got home.....just because it would make me smile so big when I walked in! And is there such a thing as soap ingredient "overboard"? Me thinks not.

Everyone "jumps in" in their own way. My sister-in-law and also a friend of mine jumped in and bought every little thing before even trying to soap. I am a cheapskate, so I sloooooow to buy anything, even soap stuff. However, I made my first soap with the first recipe I found online, with whatever I had on hand, just days after I found the recipe.
