First pencil line

I made some minor changes to my shampoo bar recipe, and also tried my first FO and first colourant - a pencil line. I did a deliberate chunky texture on top... figured why not.

I am still working on neatness and having nice smooth edges. A bit of soda ash didn't really help with that, nor did having the wax paper cling to the sides like its life depended on it.

Try freezer or butcher paper instead of the wax paper. Wax paper is such a pain. Beautiful soap though! I like it just the way it is. Sometimes we fuss over the imperfections when in all reality, they actually add to the soap.
