I used Ellie May's technique last night. My GM/Lye solution was 50 degrees at time of soaping. All handled very well. Thanks for the info. Cut tomorrow night. Hope to use for the 50:50 Challenge.

No Zany, wasn't thinking other milk powders but milks in general. Doing the milk split and then your method. So half the water content mixed with lye and refrigerated over night.... with the other half milk added to the oils and warmed ? Does that make sense ?

It makes sense to me but you don't need to refrigerate your lye unless you want to soap closer to room temperature.
