Those waves are one of the reasons I mostly use silicon loaf moulds.

Dennis in Australia they're sold in our supermarkets and department stores. These loaf moulds hold about 700-750 gm.

Ebay coz it's cheaper than buying here. I reckon you should be able to find similar stuff in supermarkets where you are.

Looks as if my brick and mortar shopping gene will have to be reactivated.
But I'll check ebay first. Thanks.

I found a silicone mold in Canadian Tire (on vacation) with waves like that on the bottom. Thought it was so cute, but my bows out in use. Trying to find a box that it will fit into to hold its shape.

Just a thought- I find silicon molds at thrift all the time!
