First attempt at beer soap

Last month I made my first beer soap and scented it with sweet orange EO. It is finally cured so I took a few photos. Smells wonderful :smile:

Thanks all for positive comments @Sonya-m color is just from the beer. I was pleasantly surprised how it turned out.

Looks like it turned out great!! I have beer soap on my to-do list. I just wasn't sure how much beer-y smell would come though and what fragrance might smell good with it.

Beer generally gives nice rustic color to soap. Beer for me is one of the best liquids to work with oils. And speaking of oils, which ones have you used and at what % in your recipe?

I used olive oil (40%), palm oil (35%) and coconut oil (25%) and 5% superfatt. It is very creamy and produces a lot of lather. Scent of beer doesn't survive saponification.
