I don't usually post my soaps cause i'm so lazy  so I figure now that i've taken the pics I better follow through with some posting lol. They're all m&p for now cause i' not completly over my lazyness to take pics of the cp and hp hehe.

Soap buddies:

Turkish Delight, I love this one, when it gets held up to the light the deep red is actually transparent like red jelly.

Purple People Eater, a mix of cp/m&p, I don't remember the scent but it smells good lol.

Cool! the duck embedding is something I must try. Is it fairly easy to do in CP? I don't make MP.

um i'm not sure about embedding in cp, actually I think it would be pretty easy, i'm wondering if you would still need to spray the object first like ya do in m&p?

Sure, I used a silicone log mould, mixed up some white base m&p (used coco powder/charcoal for colouring)let it cool, pored into the mould and moved the mould around in different directions cause the cooling mix to stick to the sides (I think I used a knife to help spread the mix around the edges) once the choc coating was thick enough around the edges I then spritzed with rubbing alcohol and pored in the red glycerine base, once that set, I poured in the rest of the choc base on top (which then becomes the bottom once tuned out of the mould)

People love it, and I must admit I have been temted a few times to lick it lol.

They are all gorgeous - love the Turkish Delight and thanks for sharing how you make it. My DD is getting interested in trying out MP and she is so creative....she will love that idea!

lol soapbuddy, I couldn't think for the life of me why that name kept sticking in my mind when naming them, now I know lol, it just had a ring to it.

Tanya, i'm sure I wrote a reply yesterday but it didn't post :? anyway here goes:

1.melt white (choc coloured/scented)base
pour into a log mould and move mould around to coat inside of mould (used a spoon or knife to help smear the soap if necessary) the mix will thicken making it easier to stick it to the sides.

2.if the coating has started to set, spritz with rubbing alcohol (especially the sides where the mix will sit) and pour more choc mixture into mould (about a quarter to half way up mould)

3.let thicken, spritz and pour the red scented glycerine base in, almost to the top.

4. once set, spritz and pour a layer of choc base over the top.

Hope I explained that easy enough :D
