Between going beginner berserker and some life issues with an aging parent, I've not made soap for quite a while. Oddly it takes much longer to actually use soap than it does to make large quantities....
Anyway, I think I've rounded up all the necessary stuff and since it will rain this evening, I'll be making more bath soap. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my previous soaps, especially from a friend with dry skin who finds commercial soaps very drying.
I have enough shaving soap to last as long as my razor blade collection will (blades last me a long time and I use about 1/3 of a gram of soap per shave) so I won't be making any shave soap unless someone wants a different scent -- I'm perfectly happy with a light lemon or no scent at all. I don't think I'll live more than 30 more years!
