Hi, i have no idea if my % is correct. I have done so much research and im not sure if this will work as there is a bit of guess work.
I have had to substitute a few things to products i can get in Australia as overseas stuff is so expensive with shipping so it's not practical.
I have not worked with alot of the below products so hopefully the powders will dissolve.....
I'm trying to make a hard shampoo bar that lasts. Liquid to mix them together, pour into mould to make a solid bar.
One that gently cleans off all the oil and other stuff from bad shampoos and or products, without stripping it.
I have no idea what the PH will be so I'm not sure what % to have of the lactic acid.
I am aiming for a PH of around PH 5.5.
Im doing a conditioner that will be around 4.5 PH
Part A
Sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI) - 20%
Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside - 8%
Sodium coco sulfate (SCS) - 27%
(PH no lower than 6 - heat gently in water bath, use emersion blender)
Part B
BTMS 50 - 8%
Cetearly alcohol - 10%
Stearic acid - 4%
Castor oil - 4%
Cocoa butter - 8%
Heat in water bath
Part C - cool faze
Citric acid - 0.4%
Caprylic/Capric triglyceride - 3%
vegetable glycerine - 4%
Lactic acid - not sur on % ((If need to add, take % from SCS and/or Essential oil)) The higher the % the lower the PH
Essential Oils - 3.6%
Heat in water bath - once cool add Essential oils. Add to part A and B stir to combine - pour into mould
