Hoping you could share your favorite supplier and colorants for CP soaps. So far I have only used natural, but would like to be able to make holiday reds and greens, as well as blue and bright yellow.

And, do you prefer powdered pigments or liquid form?

Thanks for sharing.

Hello! For me, I absolutely love Celestial Colors liquid colorants. Easy to apply and mix with each other to form many shades. Here is their website link: www.celestialcolors.com . These colorants are especially made to be used for cp soapmaking.

Nurture Soap Supplies has amazing colorants as well as TKB Trading has many soap stable colorants as well.. Don't like liquid colorants as they have not been reliable for me. I have celestialcolors and select shades. Use them once in awhile. I love my colorants.

I've been using powdered from BB. I've had mixed results with TKB so next purchase will be from Nuture Soap (all tested in cp so takes the guesswork out for me). Have had zero luck with liquids.

It looks like you need a half to one teaspoon to color one pound of soap, so if I got an ounce of colorant, how many teaspoons are in an ounce. Just wanted to see how much soap I could color with the sample set.
Thanks!

I would vary on the intensity of color you are trying to get. There is about 6 teaspoons in an oz. I bought the 2 oz set and it will color a lot of soap.
