I have tried to make your own recipe with no success, I almost scraped my skin off, lol with the amount of ground almonds i added.

70% ground almonds (ground in a blender)
20% glycerin
no kaolin (didn't have at the time)
7% almond oil
3% rose powder
drops of lavender oil

Have you guys stumbled across a recipe for Lush's Angels Bare Skin or do you have some suggestions

Ground Almonds (Prunus dulcis), Glycerine, Kaolin, Water (Aqua), Lavender Oil (Lavandula hybrida), Rose Absolute (Rosa centifolia), Lavender Flowers (Lavendula hybrida),

Have you tried almond flour ?

It is actually peeled and finely ground almonds. I am having a feeling that the almonds may not be fine enough from the blender. Almond flour is quite gentle and feels soft.

How come the Lush recipe has water in it and no preservative ????

its not almonds...

it would not be almonds, but have you considered rice powder. it is not quite as fine as talcum powder but would still be a good clensing substance. its not harsh but would still exfoliate the skin.

One of many things I often wonder about Lush products.
