I am a couponer....a responsible one, not a crazy one...lol. Last Christmas I acquired a boatload (def...."more than 6") cans of evaporated milk...I had grandiose ideas of making all kinds of fudge for gifts, then my mother in law was diagnosed with a stage 4 Cancer. Anyhow...now I have these cans of milk in my pantry, and no real desire to make anything bakery related.

If I use the milk in soap...how long can I expect the soap to last without getting "spoiled" or rancid? I am already doing goat's milk and this week I am picking up some fresh gm from a local farmer instead of the canned stuff. Does the cow's milk look/feel the same way?

I've used evaporated cow's milk before with no problems (no rancidity, etc.) I would think you'd have an experience very similar to canned goat's milk.

That's what I would think too, you'll have to be sure to let us know how it goes...pics are nice too. :)
