I've got 12 batches of soap in various timetables of curing( not counting all my salt bar/brine bars oopsies ). Will probably have at least 12 more as I refine stuff for xmas and hopefully selling next year. Is a planer in general or this specific planer if someone has it, worth saving up for? You know, to spruce things up before wrapping? Thanks! (And I have done a search here but not tons of info.)

Worth saving up for: I would say, YES!
I just received this exact planer, and it's pretty fantastic. While this IS my first and only planer, I decided to purchase after reading this thread and following up with the OP, who eventually bought the same. Planer and Beveler - updated recommendations?

I had no idea what I was missing all these years. This SMF place is a bad influence. 🤣

Oh that's awesome! I wonder if it's too lame to ask for for Mothers Day🤣🤣🤣🤣My poor hubby asked if I was ever going to stop making soap. After I was cussing in the kitchen today over a brine soap I'm trying to get good at. I told him it's very important to make it all the time bc I'm trying to learn and gave him a beer.

I bought a cheap one like that on Amazon and love it! But then I dropped it and broke the thin side of the box. So I’m adding this one to my wishlist! Looks pretty solid & well made! Thanks!
