I just made my first attempt at an emulsifying sugar scrub. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow. Since I used 5% cocoa butter, it's got a bit of a chocolaty smell coming through the Island Nectar Dupe FO I used. Oh well. Next time I'll either use more FO (not too much) or try refined cocoa butter.

The scent of the cocoa butter doesn't fade- I switched to refined for that reason- it seems to overpower everything!

Holy cow this stuff is awesome!!!! I can't believe the feeling. The chocolate smell comes out strong when using it but otherwise it's great! Must buy refined cocoa butter! ImageUploadedBySoap Making1385303291.372429.jpg

That looks great! I love emulsified scrubs.

Thanks! Good to know. Maybe I should try unrefined some time since I do have some chocolate type scents for kids. On the other hand, this would mean having to store 2 containers of CB which means I'd have to ruthlessly carve out more space for soap/lotion supplies. Hmm...
