Hi everyone,

my name is Lisa and I'm very new and unsure of how to make liquid soap. I want to use organic ingredients for my 18 month old who has very delicate skin, i was wondering if anyone here could help me, i have researched all the ingredients that i want to use and that i think would make liquid soap but am unsure as to how much of the ingredients to use.....so confused!

any input would help me greatly!

Thanx

Hi and welcome! I don't do liquid soap, but you might get better responses on your question if you post on the bath and body portion of the forum! Or maybe the CP Portion??? Not sure.

Welcome! You'll find the help you need here, either in the CP or Bath & Body forum :)

Welcome!

To be honest with you, I don't think I would use liquid soap on a baby. It is so much more harsh than properly superfatted bar soap. Even if you superfat with sulfated castor oil...I'm not sure I would want to use sulfated castor oil on a baby's skin.

Have you made a batch of cold process soap yet? I would start there...

Good luck!!

Amanda

thank you everyone, I posted in the bath section. I want to use natural oils, vegetable glycerin and coco-glucoside, has anyone here ever used those? I know they're pretty common in commercial products.

Thanx
