So what do you do when your chickens lay tons of eggs? You make custard ice cream. My ice cream maker holds 6 quarts, the recipe uses a dozen egg yolks. I then have enough egg whites to make an angel food cake. As for ice cream I have made 2 batches of chocolate, one butter pecan, and one vanilla. My freezer is going to be packed full of frozen custard
