dye question

well, I've done the liquid dye in my cp soap and it never turns the color the dye is suppose to be.... So, then I used the pigments and they were great.
So, my question is... Can I just mix a tablespoon of TD and some liquid dye??.... Will that at least work on my cp soap???
Just a thought , but, wanted to find out some opinions.... I only have three colors of pigment so I don't want to use them for all my fo's .... I have several colors in my liquid dyes so thought it might work.... HELPPPP!!!

I guess I don't understand why you want to add td to your liquid colors , if anything it will mute the color you are aiming for .

well, usually my liquid dyes don't turn out the color I want them too ... So I was told to add them to the soap mixture after adding TD..... So, I was just wondering if I can't just add it to the TD then add it to the mixture.
