Dye Chips in Soap?

I bought some soy dye chips from a supplier that sells mainly candle making supplies, some soap too. I bought them for dyeing soy wax melts but I was wondering if I can use them in soap? I will be using it in CP and Rebatch. Thanks

only if you know they are skin safe. only certain materials are approved for use on skin and it's not typical that candle materials are...

you should ask the vendor.
