I am looking for Lavender oil and came across some decent prices when bought in bulk but in the MSDS it says:
Definition/Botanical Origin: The volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of the freshly cut flowering tops of the herb Lavandula angustifolia P. Miller (Fam. Labitae), blended/adjusted to defined composition (esters as linalyl acetate 40-42%)
It is advertised as 100% essential oil and seems like a reputable store but I'm confused by the 'blended/adjusted' bit. Doesn't this mean it isn't pure?
Any help much appreciated!
