my cp soaps are getting this stuff on top after gelling does anyone know what im doing wrong? its hard to clean off once curing..the one on left doesn't

What's your recipe and method, please. Can't help much without more info.

Cold process and my recipe is
284 grams olive oil
227 coconut oil
184 palm
85 canola
43 castor
271 water
116 lye
i could be over heating, i put on low heat pad til i see gelling then remove...

Looks like overheating to me too. Did one part of the soap get hotter than another?

I've had that happen to me a few times (usually seems to coincide with a few certain FOs that I use). I've put it down to the gel stage just being hotter than normal.
