Does anyone know what happened to Lane?

I was around here about a decade ago (I keep looking for me, but I haven't found myself yet ...).

Anyway (all silliness aside), I remember Lane and some other folk. Does he still soap?

Where are they now?

I found Bandicoot, and Ginger and Irish (still here, that's good!) ...

TEG - you remind me of Lane, which is probably why I've gone all reminiscent.

From the SMF records, the last time Lane visited the forum was on March 25, 2013. I have no idea where they've gone off to, but I hope all is well.

I, too, often find myself wondering what has become of many of our members who used to be very active once upon a time, but have since gone off the radar.

Some of the folks that pop into my head most often are Genny, Dennis, SaltySteele, Digit, not_ally, judymoody, Grace, Lynnz, to name a few.

I personally know that some (like our Hazel and Lindy and others) have become very busy with their lives and/or businesses to be as active as they used to be, but they still pop in or lurk from time to time. But so many others haven't logged on in years and their whereabouts are a complete mystery to me.

I hope they're all doing well, though....... and still making soap!

I have been wondering the same thing myself the past few weeks! I know that he often travels for business, so maybe it's just a case of him being on another business trip that he'll soon be back from. I sure hope so!

For the life of me I can't remember my original login id. I was cleaning up and found some soaps I know I posted photo's of, but maybe it was on the (old) Dish. Doesn't matter.

Wasn't it not_ally that used to do all those amazing designs?

Wow ... names. (Yes, it would be great to think they are still soaping)

The person I miss the most is Derpina Bubbles. She is amazingly creative and hilariously funny. Unbeknownst to me at the time, she popped back in last summer after a two year absence to say she has a degenerative disease that defies dexterity (and soaping). I HATE THAT!

I've worked it out and I don't think I ever created an account on this forum before now (back then a lot of folk posted in both) - I thought I didn't know a couple of names IrishLass posted above. That would also explain why I couldn't find me!

This is making me sad, I miss so many of our old members. I'll have to dig through my old notes to see who I still follow on Instagram and Pinterest but aren't on here any more... like Soap.ish on Instagram... love her! Just can't remember who that is...
