Thanks! I haven't even researched it yet, so all the tips help.I have done a few, mostly for embeds but also column and slab molds.
A tip would be to keep in mind that the silicone will take the texture of whatever it touches. So when making a column mold, for example or the slab mold, I taped the inside of the box and the inside on the car board cylinder with shipping tape, just so that the outside of the mold would have a glossy finish instead of a textured feel.
You also need to be mindful of air bubbles and of the silicone working time. Some set up quickly and others give you more time.
