Do you pasteurize your goats milk before making soap?

I have to say pasteurized as my only source is from the supermarket but I would love to source some fresh milk for soaping as sure that fresh must be best. I have a workfriend who is on acerage and her goat is pregnant so hope to try some out in the months to come

Do any of you put preservative in your goats milk soap. Ive made a ton with out and some with..The soap with out has been great with out issues...Im curious what others do

No need for preservatives. Kinda defeats the purpose of keeping things as natural as possible.

I had 2 friends try GM for the first time the other night. Neither said they could taste a difference, yet they were extremely apprehensive of "raw" milk that I squeezed out of my goats.

I bet if people took a look at the cows being milked for store milk, they'd have a change of heart.

And goats don't pee or poo while you're milking them!

And cows never stop. :x Can't count the number of times I've put my hand under the udder to do something and got nailed. It's a sunken parlour so I'm eye level with the udders . . .
