Difference in olive oil

Hello I am new to soap making and the Lye calculator I use asked if I am using pomace olive oil or pure olive oil... What would be the Walmart brand of olive oil it says great value classic olive oil and it's the lighter version not the extra virgin...thank you!

I believe that should be Olive Oil. Olive Pomace Oil would/should be labeled accordingly.

Go with it, espceially if it saves you some coin. With the exception of pomace, it really doesn't matter.

I think that oil will affect the color of the soap less than extra virgin which is darker and greener. You will love it!

Ok thank you... Ive used that Walmart brand oil and the bramble lye calculator has two options for olive oil ...pure olive oil and pomace olive oil i just wasn't sure which one to put my calculations under
